Mikvah
The Mikva is a cornerstone of Jewish family life. It is used by brides before their marriage, and for married women for the duration of their child-bearing years. Private classes are available on the laws of Family Purity, of which Mikva is a part, for both brides and those long-married.
Currently, Simcoe County does not have any year round operational Mikvah.
Chabad is committed to building a state of the art Mikvah in Barrie which will serve the spiritual needs of Jewish women in the entire northern region of the GTA.
This is a huge undertaking and we cannot do it alone! We ask you to partner with us by supporting this project.
